FORTUS has its headquarters in the city of IASSY , situated in North-East Romania , at a distance of approximately 420 Km from Bucarest and 440 Km from the Constantza harbour.
Former Capital of Moldova Principality , IASSY city has now an international airport and the necessary substructure for connection to the railways network with a large rail gauge from the countries of CSI.
Company having an integrated manufacture technological flow , FORTUS is a producer of heavy technological equipment , with an integrated metallurgical – mechanical structure , that has the following manufacture sectors :
- the primary sector that includes : the electric steelworks , the pattern shop , the steel foundry and the forging shop ;
- the mechanical-welding sector , completely endowed for the manufacture of welded steel constructions ;
- machining sector , that comprises three sections endowed with machine-tools and outfits that can ensure the machining , assembling and testing of the most complex equipment ;
- heat treatments sector.
After TUV certification, FORTUS has implemented and applied the quality management system conforming to the ISO 9001 / 2008 norm.
